CBS skeds "New york city 22" on Sunday
CBS finds a midseason berth because of its cop drama "New york city 22," that will join the schedule April 15. The series, which follows six NYPD newbies, will replace "CSI: Miami," that will have completely finished its full run of original episodes for that season Sundays at 10 p.m., where it'll have "The Great Wife" like a lead-in. The Attention introduced the drama last May once the network revealed its fall schedule but is at no hurry to locate a time slot given its primetime selection has couple of weak spots. "New york city 22," that was initially referred to as "The Two-2," was 1 of 2 series held over, another being new half-hour "Take advantage of." Cast includes Terry Kinney, Adam Goldberg and Leelee Sobieski. Robert P Niro, Jane Rosenthal, Richard Cost, Ken Sanzel and James Mangold are executive producers of New york city 22 for CBS Television Galleries in colaboration with Tribeca Productions.
